I can only speak of their pizza. But it's really good. My friends love all their food so it must be good!

I live a street away and have been ordering pizza for years. The past 3 or 4 orders the pizza has been pretty bad, bad enough I felt I needed to write this review. Everything else about this place is awesome.

Very poor service. We ordered pasta dishes which come with salad and either plain or garlic bread. After about 10 minutes we rec'd the bread then about 5 minutes got our salad and right behind that was pasta. By then the bread was rock hard and the food was nothing to brag about. Waitress didn't bother to check on us at all and we were at the 1st table which she had to walk past to service the others. Never going back.

Fantastic take on pizza. The Detroit style. It's a less complicated chicago style. It's thick but it's the perfect marriage of buttery crust, sauce and cheese! See you soon!

Messed up my order twice

Finally I found a hidden gem of a Pizzeria.

This is the pizza I've found in scranton that closest resembles the real pizza I'm used to from Jersey. I haven't seen any american cheese on pizza here! 🤣

Average at best. Lots a dough

Food is good, but they will try to swindle you.I've been ordering from Nearra's for at least 5 years. The food is great. Pizza is a delicious NY style pie. French fries are hot and crispy. However, on items like fries and other appetizers they will scrimp. Over the phone they will tell you they only offer one size order of fries and deliver a hanfull in a large box. Today I ordered two so that I could have enough for everyone. They put one order two small boxes. Called them and asked if there was a mix up and they just denied it. I'm very annoyed at paying around $8 for less than a full basket of fries. They aren't the cheapest pizza place, so why the shenanigans? Good food. But, hey they might rip you off.

Great food, great staff!

I enjoyed the atmosphere. Small and comfortable, yet adequate space for a moderate sized party, which is exactly what was going on on the other side of the restaurant while I ate. Something about the setup of the pizzeria (the tables and the decor) made me still feel like I had enough privacy to enjoy my meal and conversation with the person I was dining with. So why only 3 stars you may wonder... I expected better food, and the pizza was good but not special like the atmosphere and great service I recieved. Delivery would have been comparable, and I just think it should have been better because everything else suggested it would be. Also the pricing was very reasonable so no worries for the wallet. Overall I would recommend this restaurant for small, informal groups to meet for a decent meal at a good price in a nice dining environment. I wouldn't take a date or a potential business partner there for lunch, but i would take the little league team there after they win a game.

Only get the extra large pizza.

Pizza was excellent, they use mozzarella. The staff was very nice I called at the last possible moment and they helped me out. Recommended

One of the best pizza place in Scranton

Oh this PLACE. FOOD. STAFF IS TOP NOTCH

My family grew up liking sweeter sauces on their pizza. I know, it's not everyone's taste. However, this pizza/sandwich place in Scranton is able to deliver on traditional savory or my family's preference. Also, other customers ordered sandwiches and fries which looked great too. If dining with youngsters, there is a game room located just off the dining area. I would recommend this establishment for anyone who likes a great, tasty crust. Enjoy!

Born & raised in Scranton I have certain places to go to for the home made items that I can't get in Delaware , national bakery, gutheinz for hot dogs and other places. We were recommended by a customer over at national bakery he said that was the best place for pizza so we went over spoke to the girl who was very nice and polite we took the pizza's one other products back to Delaware . It was well worth the trip,I would definitely stop in again it was delicious of course I froze some .to save for later.😋 So if you are out for pizza this is the place to go....Thank you Joe

Great food with family & friends super service

Very courteous staff! Great pizza also! I think they use different cheese on their old forge style than the majority of other pizza places use? Maybe American? Very good though. Got a round also, not bad either! I’ll certainly re-visit in the future!

We have been looking for a good place for our pizza nights at home and we have found it here! Very easy to order, quick delivery, and good pizza. The only thing we ordered off the pizza menu were french fries and a salad, both which were wonderful as well. Would recommend to anyone!

Pizza is inconsistent. Takeout on Friday is 4 stars (thin crust and just right amount of sause/cheese). Decided to eat in on a Saturday and unfortunately can only give 2 stars (thick crust and sparse sause/cheese). Owner was there on Friday; may not so on Saturday. When my tray was brought to my table on Saturday eat in, the pizza did not cover the tray, more than likely because the dough was not tossed adequately; thus resulting in a smaller, thicker crust. Obviously disappointed, because I live outside the Scranton area. Stick to Friday night takeout, when they appear to be more spot on.
